Wyre Swimming group (Cost £5.00 per session)

Play Inclusion Project now run a swimming group in Fleetwood for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities, aged 8-18 years of age. This will be run from the Fleetwood YMCA, Marine Splash on the Esplanade. It’s s a great opportunity for children and young people to socicalise with their peers whilst taking part in fun, energetic activity.

The group runs every Saturday 9:30 – 11:30am (term time only).

Activity Club

Funded by Lancashire County Council’s Lancashire Break Time.

The Activity Club offers a short break to parents and carers of children with additional needs and disabilities during school holidays.

Children and young people from 8- 18 years of age have the opportunity to attend the PIP Activity Club based at Fleetwood Sea Cadets Base during school holidays. This club runs every holiday from 10.00am – 3.00pm and support staff are employed to provide support to those who attend.

Children and young people get the opportunity to participate in a number of exciting activities inc. arts, crafts, dance, drama, sports based activities and sensory sessions as well as trips out in the local community including The Space Centre, Stanley Park, Bowling and trampolining.

Wyre Bowling Club (Cost £5.00 per session)

This club runs at YMCA Bowl, Throton-Clevleys, for Children and Young People aged between 8 – 18 years with additional needs/disabilities. Children and young people get the opportunity to socialise and engage with their peers, which whilst having fun whilst taking part in a physical activity.

The group runs every Monday 5.30pm – 7.15pm (term time only)

Transitional Social Group (Cost £5.00 per session)

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

This Project is for 18-25 year old young adults, who have an additional needs and/or disability, and allows them the meet up with fellow peers/friends to socialise within the local community. Outings are planned by the young adults that attend, giving them independence and responsibility. Popular activities are: meals out, ten pin bowling, pub quizzes and the cinema.

 Session days and times vary.
